CSK vs RCB IPL Stats : Chennai Super Kings hammered Royal Challengers Bangalore by 69 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and registered their fourth win of this season while Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their first loss after four back to back wins.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad gave them a good start by adding 74 runs in 9 overs. Faf du Plessis continued his good form and brought up yet another fifty but he couldn’t convert it into a big knock and Suresh Raina’s handy knock too didn’t last longer and after 18 overs Chennai Super Kings had 145 runs on the board and was looking for 170 odd runs finish but in the final over Ravindra Jadeja smashed Harshal Patel for record 37 runs and Chennai finished on 191/4 in 20 overs. Jadeja scored 62* runs off just 28 balls.
In reply Devdutt Padikkal gave a flying start to his team as he scored 30 odd runs in just 10 balls and Royal Challengers Bangalore was 44/0 in just 3 overs and were looking good but Sam Curran dismissed Kohli for 8 runs and in next over Thakur sent Padikkal to dressing room and after that it was Ravindra Jadeja show as the spinner broke RCB’s middle order by dismissing Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Daniel Christian and resultant Bangalore reduced to 94/8 in no time and eventually they finished on 122/9 and suffered a big loss.
