The much awaited update from the big man in Sourav Ganguly is here and it has turned out to be a very good news for all the cricket fans around the world. The biggest league in the world cricket in Indian premier league might happen after all the tragic incidents that has been happening around the world.
The cash rich league was postponed owing to the corona virus pandemic that has been dictating terms around the world. The league for this edition that was anticipated on so many fronts was postponed for the time being but the situation has brightened up and the league might happen this year as planned
IPL 2020 to happen in closed stadium
It was expected that the matches will happen in empty stadiums just like the 1st ODI between the Australia and New Zealand earlier this just before the lockdown. A letter released by BCCI read
The BCCI is working on all possible options to ensure that we are able to stage the IPL this year, even if it means playing the tournament in empty Stadiums. The fans, franchisees, players, broadcasters, sponsor and all other stakeholders, are keenly looking forward to the possibility of Ipl being hosted this year. Recently a lot of players, both from India and other countries, participating in IPL have also shown their keenness on being part of this year’s IPL . We are optimistic and the BCCI will shortly decide on the future course of action on this

All the cricketers will be awaiting an official news very soon and will be waiting to take the field after spending their life inside the home for the past 3 months. The England players are training hard for their upcoming series against the caribbean boys and the West Indians landed in England 2 days ago. All in all, the cricket is set to begin in less than a month with England taking on West Indies on July 8th.
