IPL 2020: Ambati Rayudu likely to miss CSK’s next game

CSK might be in a spot of bother after their loss to Rajasthan Royals in Sharjah in their 2nd league game as they might not avail the services of Amabti Rayudu, the man of the match in their tournament opener against Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi.
CSK broke their losing streak against MI with the help of Ambati Rayudu’s counter attacking and calculative knock of 71 runs from 48 balls that helped CSK chase down the tricky target of 163 runs against a potent bowling attack that includes Jasprit Bumrah, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult.
CSK CEO’s update on Ambati Rayudu
CSK CEO, Kasi Viswanathan in a recent interview told that they might see Ambati Rayudu available for selection by next game provided he regains his full fitness from the hamstring injury
Here’s what CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan told WION,
Nothing to worry about. He has the hamstring injury, but will at worst miss one more game. But you never know, he might be fit in time for that game
Ambati Rayudu who missed the game against @rajasthanroyals is nursing a hamstring injury. Likely to be out, at least, for a couple of games. #IPL2020 #CSK #Rayudu @CSKFansOfficial

CSK felt Ambati Rayudu’s absence against RR
When CSK took the field without Ambati Rayudu in their game against Rajasthan Royals, their middle order looked clueless. They needed someone in the middle order who could take the attack to the opposition chasing a big total but they lacked the firepower.
Ambati Rayudu’s innings against MI was inspiring in many ways as he scored his maximum amount of runs against MI’s 2 best bowlers in Rahul Chahar and Jasprit Bumrah. Here’s what Ambati Rayudu had to say after receiving the man of the match award in the first game.
We were training in lockdown, we were really eager and as we get older, we need to train so we were training. The pitch was good, once the dew came on, the pitch quickened a bit, it was doing a bit with the new ball. We practiced in Chennai, it really helped and we then practiced in Dubai, so I was feeling good
CSK will take on Delhi Capitals in Dubai on 25th of September and they will be looking to bounce back after their defeat against RR.
