Instagram Richlist: How much Virat Kohli earns per Instagram post?

The captain of the India team Virat Kohli has been a terrific performer since the last decade in the internatonal cricket across all the formats. He is the leading run-scorer for India in the T20Is, while has been the most successful player for RCB in IPL as well. He has scored 27 tons in tests, and 43 centuries in ODIs, which is an another parameter to judge his consistency. Certainly, he is the most important player for the Indian team and has created a nice brand value around his name by performances.

Kohli earns 5 crore INR per Instagram Post

The captain Kohli secured 19th rank in the HopperHQ’s 2021 Instagram Richlist. The captain earns 5 crore rupees for every promotional post on Instagram. This list is released every year and ranks the celebrities on how much they earn on the app. He is the only Indian cricketer to be named in this list. He is also the only Indian to be in Top 20 of the Richlist. Apart from the cricketer, Priyanka Chopra was ranked 27th, who earns 3 crore per post. The top-ranked player was Cristiano Ronaldo who earns around 12 crore per post.

In the list of cricketers, South African cricketers Faf Du Plessis, Ab De Villiers, and Dale Steyn were also named.

Virat Kohli’s performance in the Last 3 Test series

In the Australia series, he played only 1 test match, and scored 78 runs. In the England series at home, he amassed 172 runs in 4 test matches and was average, and the bowlers did most of the work. In the recent WTC final, he just scored 57 runs which was one of the reasons for India’s loss.

The upcoming series against England will consists of 5 tests and his form will certainly decide the fate of the team. In the past, he has been part of the 2014 and 2018 tour to England. In both the series, the England team won the series, and it will be important for the skipper to score runs and win it for the team.
