Kuldeep jumps 20 places to claim career-best rankingĀ
Kuldeep Yadav was one of India’s finest performers in the recently concluded T20I series against Australia. He bowled effectively in all three games and ended up with four wickets. However more importantly his accurate bowling allowed India to control the middle overs.
In the first T20I, Yadav picked two wickets and conceded 24 runs while in the second T20I at Melbourne he finished with figures of 1 for 23. In the third T20I at Sydney, the wrist-spinner gave away just 19 runs and also claimed one wicket.
Kuldeep now has 714 points and is placed at number three with Rashid Khan (793 points) and Shadab Khan (752 points) at number one and two respectively. Adil Rashid and Adam Zampa complete the top-five slots in the ICC bowling ranking for T20Is which is completely dominated by wrist-spinners.
