New Zealand banters Team India: With the IPL 2021 being suspended due to the rising COVID 19 cases in India,, the attention now shifts to the international cricket as India take on New Zealand for the ICC World Test Championship Final. The WTC Final will be hosted at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Southampton.
The much anticipated fixture is scheduled to take place on June 18 to 22. The winner of the finals will enter the history books to become the first ever team to win the trophy.
However, the mind games have already begun, and it’s surprisingly a verified Instagram page of Cricket New Zealand that fired shots on the Indians. They posted a picture of the two captains Virat Kohli and Kane Williamson, and had a description which hit a nerve of the Indian cricket fans.

This is what the description was about. “Bad news India…you can’t create a dust bowl pitch at Lord’s”
For those confused, the verified page took a dig on how the Indian wickets are a paradise for spinners from Day 1 itself. There were plenty of talks from experts and former cricketers about the nature of the Indian pitches, especially during England’s tour to India for the four match Test series.

What made the post even more interesting was that, the likes of Trent Boult, Tom Latham and Tim Southee also ended up liking the post.
Everyone is quite sure that even the Indian players would have had a look at it, and will be rearing to go. Both sides have flair and quality individuals in their respective squads, and we can expect a cracker of a contest.
