India Women vs South Africa Women Squads Announced: Indian women Cricket team will host South Africa in Lucknow for eight limited-overs match series. The series was allotted initially to Kerala, which could not be possible due to logistics reasons. The BCCI is likely to host women’s domestic matches in the same venue where the Vijay Hazare Trophy is being played. There was a delay in announcing the schedule for the women’s matches due to the new BCCI general manager Dhiraj Malhotra who is replacing Saba Karim.
The Indian team will be playing their first bilateral series after the series of lockdowns imposed due to COVID. The women IPL was organized, and before this, the team last played against Australia in the T20 Women World Cup 2020. While South Africa played their last series against Pakistan earlier this year. They won the T20I as well as the ODI series and must be upbeat ahead of this series.
