India vs Windies 3rd ODI: Three players to watch out

After an agonizingly close finish in the second ODI, India and Windies will once again lock horns on October 27th at Pune. India who started as the clear favorites are stunned by Windies’ fight back in the first two ODIs and it is evident from the fact that they have gone back to their full strength squad for the remaining three matches. Windies on other hand are high on confidence but they must carry forward their intensity to challenge India.
Both teams have plenty to play for in the third ODI and there will be a few Indian cricketers who will look to make the most of this opportunity.
3. Shikar Dhawan-
One of the pillars of India’s batting, Dhawan has had a quiet series so far. This is surprising as he is prolific in the white ball format. He has three centuries in 2018 but has managed only 33 runs in two ODIs in this series so far.

The left-hander is known for vital contributions in ODIs and the third ODI might be the occasion when he strikes big.
2. Jasprit Bumrah-
He is the one player Virat Kohli has missed the most in this series so far. India’s seam bowlers have failed to use the new ball and have looked venomless in the death overs. This is exactly what Bumrah excels in and India will unleash him in the third ODI to keep a lid on Windies’ fire-power.

Bumrah will play a big role especially in the death overs, an area where India has struggled in this series.

1. Virat Kohli-
The leader of Team India, Kohli is the biggest cricket star in the world at the moment. This series against Windies was termed as a low-key affair by many but with two majestic hundreds, Kohli has made a statement that his intensity remains the same for every game.
Virat Kohli in ODIs in 2018. 1000 runs in just 11 innings this year. 112, 46*,160*,75, 36, 129*, 75 ,45, 71, 140, 157*. Nobody has ever scored a thousand runs in just 11 ODI innings.

With seven centuries in his last 14 ODI innings, Virat Kohli will be expected to score nothing less than a triple figure mark by fans.
