India vs Sri Lanka: Suryakumar Yadav ruled out of T20Is vs SL
According to the sources, the Indian middle order batsman Suryakumar Yadav is said to have sustained a hairline fracture on his hand during fielding in final T20I against West Indies and was deemed to be not fit for the T20I series. If the injury is serious, it may take upto 2-4 weeks for him to make a return into the cricket field, which may put dent on his chances of playing in the first few leagues games for Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League 2021. Suryakumar Yadav was the leading run scorer for the team in the T20I series against West Indies with 107 runs at a strike rate of 146, and was named as player of the series as well.

No replacement is expected to be announced due to the strict bio bubble related protocols in the Indian camp. The squad size has been reduced to 16, with the unavailability of Surya and Deepak.
