WTC Final Live: New Zealand take lead of 32 runs in 1st innings
The middle-order of the New Zealand team tumbled to the terrific bowling performance of the Indian fast bowlers. The first session of the game was completely dominated by the Indian team where they took 3 wickets. But, the New Zealand team came back strongly on the back of handy contribution of tail-enders, especially Southee who scored 30 off 46 balls to help the team to score 249 take the lead of 32 runs.
It will all depend on the openers of the Indian team whether they can lay a strong foundation to post enough runs and give the bowlers a chance to take wickets and win the WTC Final on the reserve day.
