India vs New Zealand, 2nd ODI: The Indian men are set to face New Zealand on Saturday (January 21) at 1:30 PM (IST). It’s the second match of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series and will be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
India, earlier, won the first game of the series in Hyderabad. The side performed exceptionally well, with the bat in particular. Their contest against New Zealand would be a crucial assignment, deeming the upcoming World Cup this year.

It seems like a balanced pitch at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur to say and is better suited for both pacers and spinners. The pitch here, may slow down late in the game. The spinners may go well with some flight and the pacers with change in pace.

Previously, India batted first in the first ODI in Hyderabad on January 18. Shubman Gill, the opener, scored 208 runs in 149 deliveries, with 19 fours and nine sixes. And for Kiwis, Henry Shipley and Daryl Mitchell picked up two wickets each. India set a huge target of 350 runs against the visitors.
In response, for New Zealand, Michael Bracewell scored a century. He scored 140 runs in 78 balls with 12 fours and 10 sixes in his account. Mitchell Santner too aided his side with a crucial fifty. However, the Indian bowlers didn’t let them succeed and snatched a brilliant victory. Mohammed Siraj, for India, captured four wickets and helped India to win the match by 12 runs.
