Mark Wood ruled out of India vs England 3rd Test
Another England fast bowler bites the dust during the home test series against India. The right-arm pacer Mark Wood has always been susceptible to injuries due to his unusual jump while delivering the ball. But this time, he has sustained shoulder injury while attempting to save a boundary in the 2nd test match at Lord’s.

The pacer is set to undergo rehab programme in Leeds (3rd test match venue) and the decision on him will be taken at the end of the test match. He joins the list of Jofra Archer, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Olly Stone who are injured as well.
Who can replace Mark Wood in 3rd Test?
With England Cricket Board not announcing any replacements for the pacer, one of the 2 probable players can play the 3rd Test against India.
Saqib Mahmood: The fast bowler has been an impressive performer in the shortest format, namely T20 Blast and is gradually becoming part of senior T20I team. But his natural swing ability with white-ball against Pakistan in the recent home series was lauded by many, and can make his test debut due to his good form.
