India vs England 3rd Test :  The test is generating a good amount of tractions from the audience. The pitch has provided a good help to the spinners of both sides. The former England players like Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen have commented on the pitch of Chennai to be supporting the Indian bowlers. This time around, the Indian bowlers dismissed England batsmen for a score of 112, with the help of Axar and Ashwin picking 6 wickets and 3 wickets respectively. Until the end of Day 1, the home team was at 99/3 with Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane at the crease.

The Indian team was in a comfortable position on Day 2 until Jack Leach took the wicket of Rohit Sharma. Then, the wickets tumbled down in series. The England captain Joe Root brought himself into the attack to gain help from the surface which paid rich dividends in the form of 5 wickets.

The 3rd test match at Ahmedabad has become interesting due to the wickets which fell in the first session on Day 2. The Indian team, who were in a comfortable position away from their wickets to Jack Leach and Joe Root.
The most notable contribution was from Rohit Sharma who scored 66 and helped the team to stabilize at the top-order as well as the middle-order. The Indian team has been dismissed on 145 with Joe Root picking 5 wickets and Jack Leach scalping 4 wickets.  It is the first occasion when Joe Root has picked five-for in an innings. The Indian team leads by 33 runs after the completion of the first innings.

The England team has Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root as their main batsman who will need to perform exceedingly well to tackle the challenges of spinners Ashwin and Axar. Then, Stokes can play his natural game and his contribution will be important for the team.
