Brian Lara reveals his favorites for the ODI and T20 series
Former Windies cricketer Brian Lara feels that India are the favorites for the ODI series against Windies. The left-hand batsman admitted that it will be difficult for the Windies to challenge the world number one team at their home.
The ODI series will be difficult for visitors: Lara
The former Windies captain spoke about the chances of Windies of turning around things in the ODI Series in an interview he gave to a news portal. Lara believes that the performance of Windies in the ODI series is dependent on the players and the selectors.
India and Windies are set to play five ODIs starting from October 21. In the Test series, India drubbed the hosts 2-0 to complete a white-wash.
He feels that in the 50-over game it will be difficult for visitors. He also reminded everyone that India were the favorites even in England, so according to the legendary batsman playing India in their home conditions will be very tough for the visiting team.

At the same time, he made it clear that he would like to see the fight they put up, some margin of improvement from game one to game five in the one-dayers.
Lara believes Windies have the possibility to win T20I series
After the ODI series, the two teams will lock horns against each other in a T20I series comprising of three matches. The former Windies player admitted that in T20s as well, India are favorites. But he noted that in this format Windies also have their share of success as they have won two World Cups.
Lara said that he believes in the possibility of the West Indies winning the T20 series. The first T20 international will be played on 4th November.
