IND vs WI: Possible India Playing 11 for 1st T20I

India Playing 11: India have selected a good squad for the shortest format of the game but one flaw which can be seen is overlooking possibly the destructive opener in white ball cricket in India, Prithvi Shaw for the T20I series. Injecting Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan into the squad is an excellent move.

Fast tracking Ravi Bishnoi was the need of the hour simply because of the state of other spinners in India at the moment. Harshal Patel retains his place in the T20I side after an impressive debut against New Zealand last year. Ishan Kishan remains as the backup keeper in the squad.

The mainstream bowlers in Jasprit Bumran and Mohammad Shami have been given rest and Mohammad Siraj and Avesh Khan are the pace leaders for this series.
Washington Sundar is ruled out of the series due to hamstring injury and Kuldeep Yadav replaced him in the squad.
KL Rahul and Axar Patel are ruled out of the series due to injuries.
