IND vs WI: After exciting contest between bat and ball in the ongoing ODI series between West Indies and India, the focus will shift towards the five-match T20I series. With T20 World Cup 2022 around the corner, series will be ideal preparation for both the teams as they would be looking to tick all the boxes and get their combination right.
IND vs WI: KL Rahul to miss first three T20Is against West Indies
The five-match T20I series between West Indies and India will kick start from 29th July in Tarouba, followed by second and third matches to be played on August 1 and 2 in St Kitts. The final two matches will be played in the USA on August 6 and 7.
Ahead of the T20I series, India is likely to suffer a blow as star batter KL Rahul is set to miss the first three T20Is. The right-hander recently tested positive for Covid-19 and was not seen with the squad that reached the Carribean.

With him testing positive and undergoing mandatory isolation it is learned as per various media reports that Rahul will miss the first three T20Is against West Indies. He’s expected to join the team for the last two games.
Notably, Rahul was coming back from the injury and it would’ve been his comeback series. The right-hander was out of action after the conclusion of the IPL 2022 and recently underwent surgery in Germany.

IND vs WI: Probable India Playing XI for the first T20I against West Indies
With KL Rahul not being their, it is expected that India will continue opening with Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant with Shreyas Iyer set to bat at 3 in the absence of Virat Kohli. Whereas the rest of the team is likely to be same with Arshdeep to get nod ahead.
