Jasprit Bumrah not playing IND vs SL: In a big news development, India’s premier speedster Jasprit Bumrah is not playing the third and final T20I match against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala on Sunday. After yet another fabulous performance, India once again managed to clinch one more home series as they registered a fantastic 7-wicket victory against Sri Lanka in the second T20I encounter. The hosts have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match T20I series.

Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka has won the toss and opted to bat first in this final T20I game against India. With the series already sealed in their favour, during the toss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma informed that they have rested quite a few players namely Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal while Ishan Kishan has been ruled out after having suffered a concussion in the last game. India have includes the likes of Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Siraj, Avesh Khan and Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI for this 3rd T20I.

In the absence of Ishan Kishan at the top, it will be interesting to see who will be India’s second opening batsman alongside skipper Rohit Sharma. It is very much likely that Venkatesh Iyer will get a promotion and he will open the batting.
