IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2021: In a massive development, Pakistan have announced their 12-member squad for their first match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 against arch-rivals India scheduled on 24 October. The mother of all battles is scheduled to be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. India will be looking to maintain their outstanding unbeaten 5-0 record against Pakistan in T20 World Cup matches.

The Babar Azam-led Pakistan team have named a 12-man squad for the important clash against India on Sunday and they have left out the trio of Mohammad Wasim Jr, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz. Pakistan have picked all of their main batters namely skipper Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik. In the bowling department, the spin duo of Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan will be supporting the trio of Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf.

Pakistan are very much likely to leave out Haider Ali from the playing 11 for the first game in the T20 World Cup 2021. On the other hand, the Indian team also have some major selection issues to deal with for their T20 WC opener. There is still a big question mark whether Hardik Pandya will be contribution with the ball or not. The conditions and the dew factor at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will decide whether India will play three spinners or three fast bowlers in the playing XI.
