IND vs NZ, WTC Final Live: The much awaited day for the WTC Final finally arrived, but the rain washed out the play on Day 1. It is expected that the rain will play a spoil sport in the next few sessions as well. Additionally, there are high chances that another day can be washed out due to the bad weather. The temperature is likely to be around 16 degree celsius max, and 11 degree min. At present, there is a low pressure formed over France, and it is expected to move towards Southampton Friday onwards. The showers are not expected to be intense, but will be enough to stop the play.

Southampton Weather Update for Day 2
The International Cricket Council had purposely drafted the reserve day due to the nature of weather in the month of June in England. The Day 1 of the IND vs NZ test has already been wasted due to the rain, and the options to play at reserve day, which will be on 23rd June, will be decided by the umpires.
If half an hour of the game is lost due to rain, it will be made up playing an additional half an hour after the scheduled time on the same day. Today, 6 hours of the game were lost, and will be covered during the course of the upcoming days. In the case of reserve day also not helping to provide a result of the match, India and New Zealand will be declared as joint winners.

IND vs NZ, WTC Final Live Day 2
Due to the weather being expected to be overcast and humidity on the surface would still prevail during the whole test match. The team winning the toss would look to bowl first and take advantage of the conditions and dismiss the opposition team as early as possible.
