IND vs NZ: Why is Prithvi Shaw Not Playing India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I?

India have made a solitary change to their Playing XI, bringing Umran Malik for Yuzvendra Chahal. There is still no place for Prithvi Shaw in the third T20I match against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad.
During the toss, India’s T20I captain Hardik Pandya mentioned that they are playing with an unchanged batting combination in this third T20I match against New Zealand. This also means that Prithvi Shaw will once again be warming the bench and wait some more for his opportunity.
Before the opening T20I against the Kiwi side, Hardik had already cleared the fact that Shubman Gill will start as the opener in this three-match T20I series as the right-hander has looked in a superb form during the ODI matches. However, Prithvi made a comeback into the Indian team after scoring loads of runs in domestic cricket.
INDIA PLAYING 11
1. Ishan Kishan (wk)
2. Shubman Gill
3. Rahul Tripathi
4. Suryakumar Yadav
5. Hardik Pandya (C)
6. Deepak Hooda
7. Washington Sundar
8. Shivam Mavi
9. Kuldeep Yadav
10. Umran Malik
11. Arshdeep Singh
Feel for Prithvi Shaw – got selected after a long for the 3 match T20i series, but unfortunately couldn't get a chance in any of the matches.

I will pick even Prabhsimran before Ishan Kishan. And these guys have legit Prithvi Shaw sitting on the bench. In the name of backing and pecking and shit, Dravid has made the system as servant of the rules. Hardik is anyway much concerned about filling this team with GT Quota.

Ex-India men's U19 captain Prithvi Shaw ignored this series to show women's U19 players that they still have a long way to go despite title win. Deep message. ♥️
