INd vs IRE, T20I Series: Ireland announce its T20I squad against India

As Indian cricket team brace to fly off to Ireland, Irish Cricket Association have named a 14-man squad for against on Friday.
Gary Wilson has been named the captain of the side.
Talking about their squad during the announcement, Andrew White, Chairman of National Men’s Selectors for Cricket Ireland said, “We aim to provide opportunities for a wider pool of players for gaining experience in Twenty20 cricket on an international stage.”
“With World T20 qualifiers around the corner, we are looking forward to building a competitive squad for qualification stage and we hope that our team can propel us into the tournament in 2020,” he added.

Ireland would take on India for a two-match series that will begin on 27 June. The second match will be played on 29 June.
He also said that their deliberations were around finding a competitive side envisioning future.
