The incident took place in the 28th over when Pandya’s 5th ball was nudged to the sweeper cover by England middle-order batsman Sam Billings.
But Krunal Pandya still appealed to the umpire thinking the ball hit Billings’ pad first. The on-field umpire ignored the appeal completely and Pandya then looked towards Virat Kohli to go for the DRS.
But Kohli saw the funny side and burst into laughter as the ball had clearly hit the bat first.
