IND vs ENG Stats : India defeated England by 317 runs in the second Test match at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on the fourth day and leveled the series 1-1 with two matches to go. On fourth day England resumed their batting on 53/3 and their batsmen couldn’t fight against the top quality bowling of Indian spinners and bowled out for just 164 runs and suffered a big 317 runs loss. For India spinner Axar Patel took 5 wickets while R Ashwin took 3 wickets in the second innings. Ravichandran Ashwin was named Man of the Match for his all round performance and now both the sides will play third Test match in day night format in Ahemdabad from next week.
