IND vs ENG Stats : India is in top position after the end of the first day of third day night Test match at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad as they finished the day at 99/3 in reply of England’s 112. Earlier England won the toss and opted to bat first. Ishant Sharma gave a good start to team India as he removed Dominic Sibley for a duck and then Axar Patel dismissed Jonny Bairstow for a duck. Opener Zak Crawley continued to play shots and brought up his fifty and with Joe Root took score to over 70 runs and when they’re looking good R Ashwin broke this stand by removing Joe Root and after his dismissal England’s collapse started and they kept losing wickets regularly and the whole team bowled out for just 112 runs. For India Axar Patel took 6 wickets while R Ashwin took 3 wickets. In reply India lost Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara cheaply but Rohit was rock solid and brought up his hundred and in the second last over captain Kohli got out and at stumps Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane were batting.
