The Test series between England and India is evenly poised at 1-1. The series so far has been enthralling. After a disappointing end to the first Test match, the Virat Kohli-led side then displayed a great all-round performance to stage a 151-run victory. However, after being bogged down in the series, the home side then bounced back to level the series by winning the third Test by innings and 76 runs.
Prasidh Krishna added to the Indian squad for the 4th Test
The start of the fourth Test between England and India is just a few hours away from now. After being pounded by hosts in the third Test match, the Virat Kohli-led side would be eager to bounce back and take a lead in the five-Test series.

In the latest development, it is learned that the Indian cricket team has added Prasidh Krishna, who was travelling with the team as a reserve, to the squad for the fourth Test match, which will take place at The Oval.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India released an official statement and confirmed the development, stating that they have added Krishna to the squad at the request of the team management.
“The All-India Senior Selection Committee – based on the request of the team management – has added fast bowler Prasidh Krishna to India’s squad for the fourth Test,” BCCI stated.

IND vs ENG: A look at Prasidh Krishna’s first-class record
The Karnataka born pacer has so far played only 9 first-class matches and has an impressive record in those matches. The right-arm pacer has bagged 34 wickets to his name at an average of 20.26 to go with one five-wicket haul and two four-wicket hauls. With the amount of pace and bounce he gets, he could play a vital role for the Virat Kohli-led side in the remaining matches of the tour.
