England vs India: Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of T20I series against England

Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the three-match T20I series against England after suffering from a thumb injury.
The pacer had suffered an injury in the first T20I against Ireland in Malahide. He didn’t train the next day and was given a rest for the second game of the series.
After undergoing scans, it came out that the pacer had a fractured thumb of his non-bowling hand. He is expected to return for the three-match ODI series against England slated to start from July 12 in Nottingham.
Deepak Chahar has been called in to replace Bumrah in the Indian squad.
Washington Sundar, the all-rounder has also been ruled out of the series after suffering an ankle injury while playing football during India’s practice session in Malahide on Tuesday.
Spin bowling all-rounders Axar Patel and Krunal Pandya will replace Washington Sundar for ODIs and T20Is respectively.
India will play their first T20I match against England on July 3 at Old Trafford.
