IND vs ENG: India's Possible Playing 11 for 1st T20I

With the Test series all wrapped up in India’s favor by 3-1, the attention now shifts to the shortest format of the game starting March 12th. India and England will be locking horns for  a five-match T20I series, with the first game being hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

India’s Possible Playing 11

With the World T20 upon us this year, both cricketing nations will be eager to get maximum wins in order to solidify a squad and build momentum going ahead. England are the current World Champions when it comes to ODIs, meanwhile, India will have the home advantage this season. With ample firepower on both ends, we can expect the India vs England T20 Series to be a mouth watering affair.

That being said, let us take a look at the squad the Men in Blue have for the forthcoming series, and the possible playing eleven they could opt for.

Players such as KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal are expected to be back in the colored blue, while, Suryakumar Yadav can turn out to be the surprise pick in the playing eleven.  Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah misses out the series, due to him getting married this month. Veteran fast bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also made a comeback to the squad after recovering from a back injury. However, he could be made to just ease his way in.
