Ebadot Hossain IND vs BAN: In an important news update, hosts Bangladesh’s premier pacer Ebadot Hossain unfortunately misses out for the BAN vs IND 2022 2nd Test being played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Bangladesh ended up conceding a poor 188-run defeat at the hands of India in the previous Test match and are now trailing 0-1 in this short two-match Test series. The hosts will be aiming to come back strongly with an improved performance in the second Test match.
IND vs BAN: Why is Ebadot Hossain Not Playing Today’s Bangladesh vs India 2nd Test Match?
After having troubled the Indian batsmen constantly and even picked up the wicket of Shreyas Iyer in the first innings, Ebadot Hossain failed to take the field in the second innings of the first Test against India as he felt some discomfort in his back. Ebadot Hossain was then unfortunately ruled out for the Bangladesh vs India second Test match due to the same back injury and this can be a major blow for the hosts as the Indian players had faced a lot of troubles while countering the speedster. Bangladesh have included senior pace bowler Taskin Ahmed in the playing 11 for the second and final Test against India.
“We’ll bat first. It will be challenging for the first two hours. If we can manage that, we can score well. Fast bowlers get some help here but it is generally good for batting. Two changes – Mominul is playing for Yasir, Taskin in for Ebadot,” said Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan during the toss.
