IND vs BAN: Predicted India Playing 11 for India vs Bangladesh 1st Test

Indian Cricket Team is all set to tour Bangladesh in December this year. They will lock horns with the hosts in three ODIs and two Test matches. While the 50-over games will be played from 4th December to 10th December, the Test series is scheduled to take place from 14th to 22nd December.

Skipper Rohit Sharma and his deputy KL Rahul will no doubt open the innings for their side in the Test series against Bangladesh. They duo is expected to play a huge role in the series as crucial WTC points will be on the line as well.

Cheteshwar Pujara is likely to retain the No.3 spot in the Indian XI with Virat Kohli set to bat at No.4 for the team in the first Test against Bangladesh. Shreyas Iyer has from reasonably well in the side at No.5 and therefore it is likely that team will continue to back him.

It’s a no brainer that Rishabh Pant will keep wickets for India and will bat at No.6 whereas Ravindra Jadeja will be making a comeback on his tour. He along with R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav are likely to handle the spin bowling duties.

With conditions favouring spin, they are likely to play three spinners. Whereas Mohammad Shami and Mohammed Siraj are likely to be the two pacers in the side.

Apart from the above mentioned eleven players, India has named Shubman Gill as a backup opener in the side with KS Bharat being the second wicket keeper. Axar Patel has also been named in the side along with Shardul Thakur and Umesh Yadav.
