However, after that Tim David (54) and Daniel Sams (28) took Indian pacers to the cleaners and helped their side end the innings on a high. Their partnership took Australia to a total of 186 runs on the board.

Chasing the target, India didn’t have a good start as they lost both the openers KL Rahul (1) and Rohit Sharma (17) for just 30 runs. But after that Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav (69) changed the course of the game and smashed Australian bowlers all over the park for their 104 runs partnership.

After the wicket of Suryakumar, Kohli continued to hit the Australian bowlers and smashed his half-century. With 11 runs needed off the last over, he smashed six on the first ball and then perished for 63 runs on the next ball. Hardik Pandya then along with Dinesh Karthik guided his team to the victory and sealed the series by the margin of 2-1.
