Wasim Jaffer has picked Axar Patel in his playing 11 as a like for like replacement for Ravindra Jadeja which is a wise move to say the least.

With Axar Patel in the XI, India have got one left hand batsman in their top 7, and Wasim Jaffer thinks that Axar Patel should do the job if there arises a situation with the bat in middle overs and has picked Dinesh Karthik ahead of Rishabh Pant in the XI. The southpaw from Delhi is in awful form and it has to be said that Wasim Jaffer has nailed the batting order in his team for the first match.
