Team India will lock horns against Australia in the third T20I on Sunday. The visitors bounced back in style at Melbourne and were dominating the game when rain rescued Australia. Now, on Sunday, Team India will be hoping to repeat their heroics and these three players will have the responsibility to deliver the first win of the tour for Kohli and Co.

#3. Rohit Sharma-

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Rohit’s staggering numbers in the recent past have been overshadowed by Kohli’s sensational run with the bat but even the Australians will be wary of Rohit’s wrath which can take the game away from them in no time.

Rohit didn’t make an impact in the first game while the second match was washed away. So, he will be itching to produce a big knock on Sunday when it matters the most.

#2. Virat Kohli-

India’s biggest match-winner has the perfect occasion to make a statement of his arrival in Australia. With the series at stake, the Indian captain will be India’s trump card against Australia.

Mitchell Starc is back in the team and there cannot be a more exciting contest than Starc bowling to Kohli. And when that happens watch out for the outside edge of Kohli’s bat as Starc’s natural angle will move the ball away from Kohli and this is exactly where Kohli has a little chink in his armour. This could be a trailer of what to expect in the upcoming Test series.

#1. Jasprit Bumrah-

To a country which has historically lacked genuine pace bowlers, Bumrah’s emergence has solved a lot of problems. And now Kohli is learning the art of how to maximum the impact of your best resource. The Indian captain learnt from the mistake he made in the first game and at Melbourne used Bumrah in the middle overs.

This was a key moment in the game as Bumrah’s accuracy allowed India to control the middle overs and he was also available for a burst in the death overs.

Now that the element of surprise is gone it will be interesting to see how Australia react to this strategy. Will they attack India’s new-ball bowlers forcing Kohli to bowl Bumrah up-front or will they take the risk and go after Bumrah in middle overs?

Whatever the case, the pace bowler may once again emerge as the MVP for India in a must-win game.
