IND vs AUS: Team India is all set to host the Australian cricket team for a short three-match T20I series starting with the first T20I encounter scheduled to take place on 20 September, 2022 at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. The second T20I match between hosts India and Australia is scheduled to be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on 23 September, 2022 while the third and final game will be held on 25 September, 2022 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.

“We will host SA and Australia for three T20Is each before going for the T20 World Cup,” BCCI president Sourav Ganguly informed reporters after a meeting of the Board’s Apex Council on Thursday.

“South Africa will come to India after concluding their ongoing England tour (in September). All those venues which didn’t get to stage a game against SA- Ranchi, Nagpur, Hyderabad. Lucknow, Indore, Mohali- will host T20Is against SA and Australia,” Ganguly added.
