Rohit Sharma ABUSING: Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was seen abusing while fielding on the field in the ongoing first T20 International between India and Australia. It was the sixth over of the Australian innings and Sharma wasn’t quite happy with wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik’s efforts to stop the ball.
Steven Smith, the number three batter in the Aussie lineup, was on strike while Harshal Patel was the one to bowl. The nearly full-length delivery hit Smith’s pads and headed down to the leg-side. The on-screen umpire considered it as a ‘leg bye,’ but Sharma seemed angry over Karthik’s disinterest to attempt a run-out or at least to deny a single there.
The skipper looked frustrated and was seen speaking with the choicest of words, which according to the commentators and many suspectors, were ‘Ben Stokes,’ an Indian curse word.
