IND vs AUS: Predicted Playing XIs for 4th Test

India’s situation have gone from bad to worse as Jasprit Bumrah is ruled out of the 4^th test against Australia at The GABBA. India are now without all of their first choice pacers and are left with 6^th and 7^th choice seamers.

Australia on the other hand played their best possible XI in Sydney and still couldn’t end up on the winning side. They might consider giving rest to David Warner who was clearly not comfortable running between the wickets and while fielding as well.

India don’t have many options left to choose from for the 4^th test. The fact that, their 2 lead spinners are ruled out, they are forced to draft Washington Sundar who is is largely known for his defensive bowling skills in white ball cricket into the squad in place of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Shardul Thakur might get a look in unless India want to gamble with T Natarajan in place of Jasprit Bumrah. Indian fast bowling attack will be led by 2 tests old Mohammad Siraj and spin attack will be led by Kuldeep Yadav who is not in the best of form. It is also known that Mayank Agarwal got injured in nets who was all set to replace Hanuma Vihari for the 4^th game.

It will be an uphill task for Indians to stretch the game past 3 days against Australia in their fortress, let alone winning the game.

Australia might consider resting David Warner for this game and play Matthew Wade as an opener for one more time in this series. The southpaw in Matthew Wade opened the innings for Australia in the first 2 tests in the absence of David Warner and performed well.

The young sensation in Will Pucovski suffered an injury in the 5^th day of the 3^rd test and in all likelihood, he might be ruled out as well.
