India has done the unimaginable. India have conquered Australia for 2nd time in a row and this time, it is against a full strength Australian team which had arguably the greatest ever bowling attack that any Australian team had in the history of their cricket.
India were hit by injuries, they lost their best batsman in Virat Kohli who had to leave citing birth of his first child after the first game. With the captain, India’s strike bowler in Mohammad Shami left the Indian team as well who got injured in the 1st game. Umesh Yadav followed Mohammad Shami in the 2nd test as he sustained an injury as well. That left India without 3 of their first choice seamers. Jasprit Bumrah was left all alone by himself after the 2nd test but India didn’t bow down. New stars kept emerging time and again and here they are.
IND vs AUS: Historic moment in Indian cricket
Australia were undefeated in The GABBA since 1988 but the fortress has been breached by a 3rd string Indian team which no one would have imagined at the start of the series. This series in itself was a spectacle to every cricket fan let alone the fans of both the countries. It was only fitting that Rishabh Pant hit the winning runs that scripted the historic moment in Indian cricket.
Everyone loses their head at the winning moment….

A series that transformed boys to men
India had no other go but to play with fringe players, some of them haven’t even played first class cricket for a long period of time. India have lost as many as 6 first choice players who would walk straight into this Indian setup for the 4th test, namely Virat Kohli, Hanuma Vihari, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma.
Any team in the world would have lost all their steam in such a situation but Indian team showed that they are not like other teams in the world. The likes of Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Washington Sundar and Mohammad Siraj stepped up big time to help India breach the fortress.
When the chips are down. You push harder.?? A series we can never forget. ? Through the tough times we always believed and backed ourselves and this series win proves with belief you can achieve everything.??@BCCI pic.twitter.com/uPPhzmFHAT
