While taking care of the Indian pitches that will assist the spinners to a great extent. Australia have included as many as four frontline spin bowling options in their 18-member Test squad for the four Test matches against India. 22-year-old uncapped off-spinner Toddy Murphy has earned his maiden call-up to the Aussie Test squad alongside the likes of Nathan Lyon, Ashton Agar and leg-spinner Mitchell Swepson also makes a comeback. Both Murphy and Swepson have consistently performed really well in the domestic circuit for a while now. On the other hand, the duo of Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green have been named in the side but are very much likely to miss atleast the first Test due to their respective finger injuries. The visitors might hand a surprising debut to tearaway fast bowler Lance Morris for the opening Test match against India in Nagpur.
On the other hand, Peter Handscomb who did amazingly well with the bat in India conditions during the 2017 Test series, has also retained his spot alongside Matt Renshaw. Both Josh Hazlewood and Scott Boland will be the available pacers for the first Test match.
