Shastri tweeted, posting a photo of Dhoni and Kohli on Twitter, “Different personalities. Both champions and mighty effective.” India cricket team are currently in England and Wales for the ongoing Cricket World Cup.

Ravi Shastri shared a few words about these champions

MS Dhoni has been lately receiving too much of criticism in the ongoing Cricket World Cup which is not going to end soon. The bad statements from the people have flooded in due to his slow game against Afghanistan Team, although the love for Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have glided into his defence, head coach Ravi Shastri has shared a few words to say too about these champions, ” The captaincy styles of Dhoni and Kohli have been vastly different from each other but at the end of the day, both have done the job exceedingly well.”

Kohli speaks for MS Dhoni at the post-match presentation ceremony.

“Dhoni knows exactly what he wants to do in the middle. When he has an off day here and there, everyone starts talking. We always back him,” Kohli had said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

“He has won us so many games. The best thing about having someone like him is when you need those 15-20 runs he knows exactly how to get them. 8 out of 10 times his experience has come good for us,” he added.
