The Sunrisers Hyderabad did not have the best of seasons before the postponement of IPL 2021. After losing 6 of their 7 games in the tournament, SRH team management even decided to take the hard call on dropping their senior player David Warner from the captaincy role and the playing XI. Kane Williamson who did not feature in the first few games this season was appointed as the new SRH captain for the last match against Rajasthan Royals but the move didn’t go in their favour as they ended up conceding a big defeat. SRH would surely now be eyeing to make a winning comeback when IPL 2021 resumes later this year.
