1. Rohit Sharma -264 runs
India’s white-ball skipper Rohit Sharma is the proud owner of the Highest individual score in ODI with 264 runs to his name. Not only this 264, but the Hitman also has two more double centuries to his name. He recorded this feat against Sri Lanka in 2014. It was his comeback match and he left no stone unturned and gave fans everything to cheer about. His knock of 264 runs was laced with 33 fours and 9 sixes.

2. Martin Guptill- 237 runs
New Zealand opener Martin Guptill is the holder of the second Highest individual score in ODI. The right-hander came out all guns blazing against West Indies in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 clash. The Kiwi batter scored 237 runs batting at the top of the order. His knock was laced with 24 boundaries and 11 maximums. It is still the highest score by a batter in World Cups.
3. Virender Sehwag – 219 runs
Virender Sehwag’s name in the list of Highest individual score in ODI. The former Indian skipper stands third on the list with his tally of 219 runs. He registered the feat against West Indies in the year 2011. He destroyed the West Indies bowling line-up and created history by hitting the double hundred. His knock was laced by 25 fours and 7 sixes. At that time he also became the first captain to score a double century in ODIs.

4. Chris Gayle – 215 runs
Chris Gayle’s score of 215 runs is the fourth Highest individual score in ODI. The Universe Boss recorded the feat against Zimbabwe in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 clash. The southpaw’s hitting ability has been a class apart. Opening the batter for the Caribbean nation, Gayle has been a prolific run-getter in ODIs. His knock of 215 runs against Zimbabwe 10 fours and 16 sixes.
5. Fakhar Zaman – 210* runs
Pakistan’s batter Fakhar Zaman recently joined the elite list of batters with double centuries in ODIs. He smashed unbeaten 210 runs against Zimbabwe in July 2018. During this knock, he also became the first Pakistani batter to scored a double century in ODIs. Zaman’s 210 runs came in just 156 balls and his tally included 24 fours and 5 sixes.
