Hasan Ali available for ISLU’s next PSL match? Here’s update

The PSL 2021 which was discontinued due to covid cases in different teams earlier in the year was restarted from June 9. The Islamabad United are at the top position in the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches. The Pakistan pace bowler Hassan Ali also plays for Islamabad United and has 10 wickets in the tournament. Yesterday, it was reported that the pacer was due to miss remainder of the PSL matches due to personal reasons. His statement said “Some things are more important than cricket and nothing is more important than family. I am thankful to Islamabad United for their support and understanding. This team truly is a family that stands with you through thick and thin. I wish the team very best of luck for the remaining PSL matches.”

Hasan Ali Available for PSL 2021
The fast bowler has now been confirmed to play for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League 2021 matches. He has said that his wife has resolved the personal family issue. Here is what Hasan Ali said in a media statement on Monday.
“She has assured me she will take care of it and wants me to concentrate on my cricket and my career. Hats off to such a wonderful partner. She has always stood by me through the hardest times and after consulting with her I have decided to stay on with Islamabad United for the remainder of PSL 6. I would like to thank Islamabad United for their support and understanding during this tough period.”Ali to Media.
“As with his initial intention Islamabad United will always support any personal decision that one of our family makes,” said Ali Naqvi, Islamabad United Owner. “It is fortunate for us that Hassan will be available for us through the rest of the tournament. But more importantly, we’re happy that whatever issues there were have been resolved. We wish the very best to Hassan in every aspect of his life,” Naqvi added.

Players behind Rise of Islamabad United in PSL 2021
The team has a talented bunch of youngsters and have good international experience at the top-order. At present, the team has been playing fine cricket and are at the top of the points table.
In the bowling unit, Musa Khan and Hasan Ali have been consistent wicket-takers.
In the batting department, Asif Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed are the top run-scorers.
