Hardik Pandya recently recovered from his back injury and played a few scintillating knocks in the domestic circuit which ensured that the all-rounder was all set to fire for the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2020 which was originally scheduled for March 29. However, due to the global coronavirus outbreak, the tournament has been suspended by the BCCI indefinitely.
Along with Hardik, his elder brother Krunal Pandya has also been a key member of the Mumbai Indians outfit but will have to wait a few days before coming into action. Though the cricketing world along with plenty of the other sporting events is also on lockdown, Hardik Pandya has been a handful in the social media platforms. This time around, Hardik posted a throwback picture of himself with brother Krunal which was clicked in 2011.

Hardik Pandya took a trip to nostalgia and by the look of the post was pleased with him and his brother Krunal’s efforts which has now made them superstars in the sport. The Pandya brothers might have been nostalgic here, but the likes of Jos Butler, Jatin Sapru and Shikhar Dhawan didn’t shy away from making comments.
The feedback
Hardik Pandya has featured in 66 IPL games and has scored 1068 runs with a strike rate of 154.78 and has also bagged 42 wickets in the process.
As for Krunal Pandya, he’s more of a wicket taking candidate for the Mumbai Indians with his left-arm spin. Krunal has scalped 40 wickets 55 games and has also scored 891 runs with a strike rate of 146.07
The high-profile league was later shifted to April 15 from March 29, but with the Prime Minister extending the lockdown the BCCI decided to suspend the league until further notice.
“BCCI will continue to monitor and review the situation regarding a potential start date in close partnership with all of its stakeholders and will continue to take guidance from the Government of India, State Governments and other State Regulatory bodies,” the BCCI official stated.
