Hardik eyeing a comeback
Hardik Pandya, meanwhile, has not played a competitive game since the T20I series against South Africa at the start of the home season. He has been out of action since then due to a back injury and had also undergone a surgery for the same in the UK. He was recently named in India A squad for the tour of New Zealand. Provided he clears the India A test, he will be included in the senior team that will tour New Zealand for five T20 Internationals, three ODIs and two Tests in the last week of January.
