Glenn Maxwell in awe of Indian batsman

Aussie cricketer Glenn Maxwell is in awe of Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Maxwell has said that he is glued to TV when Pant is batting and has showered praise on him.
Maxwell full of praise for Pant
The right-hand Aussie batsman feels that Pant is an amazing talent and he believes that we have only seen the young Indian wicket-keeper scratch the surface in terms of his ability.
He also admitted that he has been glued to his TV every time Pant come out to bat. The Aussie cricketer noted that if Rishabh does get going, it is pretty good to watch.
Maxwell lauds Pant’s batting skills
Maxwell further noted that the left-hand batsman has got an amazing hundred, where he just kept reserve-scooping balls with a straight bat, over the third man for six.
Maxwell said that he thinks Pant was a gymnast growing up, so he’s extremely flexible. He explained that the Indian wicket-keeper can manipulate his body into different positions to hit the ball.

Along with his aggressive batting, Pant’s verbal banter has made the news in recent times. When asked about this, Maxwell admitted that the India wicket-keeper speaks a fair amount of dross.

He also noted that having spent the whole IPL with him, he certainly learned that first hand. Maxwell recalled that he used to hear it all the time in the change rooms, at training and it was pretty nonstop.
The Aussie cricketer noted that they were pretty close during the IPL, which was nice.
Meanwhile, Australia defeated the visitors in the second Test to level the series 1-1. The third Test between Australia and India will be played from December 26th at Melbourne.
