Team India till now
During an interview, former Indian fast bowler, Venkatesh Prasad praised the Indian team for its comprehensive win against Pakistan. He praised Rohit Sharma’s effortless knock and Kedar Jadhav’s stunning show.

The only problem area, he felt was the catching. This needs immediate attention as the tournament progresses because later on the other teams will be more than eager to defeat India. He pointed out that later on, the teams won’t really feel the pressure and instead, thrive in matches like this where they have nothing to lose but everything to gain by winning, especially against India.

Be aware
The absence of Tamim Iqbal due to injury has been a stroke of luck for India. However, Shakib al Hasan and Mohammed Mithun are in form and are explosive. Also, Shakib’s bowling in these conditions may be dangerous.
Prasad’s advice was clear- if Rohit wins the toss he should choose to field first as the ball tends to come on to the bat in the second innings.
A lovely bowling effort from #TeamIndia as they restrict Bangladesh to 173 ???

Losing the toss with Pakistan turned out to be lucky because of the weather conditions. He stated that in conditions such a toss in Dubai, the ball tends to not come on to the bat in the first innings and is rather slow off the pitch.
If Rohit happens to win the toss he should make the other team bat first. The India spinners will thrive in those conditions. He remained hopeful that Jadhav might perform something magical again.
