He is the darling of Australian cricket and is hailed as a future captain of the national team. How good he has been, is clear from the fact that in January this year, the ICC named Labuschagne as the Emerging Cricketer of the Year, and he was Australia’s Test player of the year as well.

This seems a bit exaggerated to some extent, for Kohli is on another level, and Azam needs to show more consistency to make those comparisons more applicable.
