The left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been one of the main reasons for the rise of the Bangladesh cricket team at the international level. He along with some big names like Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim had carried their national team for quite some time now.
He debuted for Bangladesh in 2015 and recorded the most wickets (13) in a debut ODI series and is also the first player to win the ‘Man of the Match’ award on both Test as well as ODI debuts and was also leading wicket-taker for his nation in the ICC World Cup 2019. So far in 132 matches across the format, the left-arm pacer has taken 228 wickets and can easily take double of these wickets in the upcoming time.

However, he along with his teammates suffered a tragic incident in 2019 when they toured New Zealand. As they were about to enter the Al Noor mosque, a terrorist attack took place there and he along with his teammates went into trauma. To overcome the shock the left-arm just a few days after the attack married his cousin sister Samia Pravin, who is a psychology student at Dhaka University.
