Shahid Afridi- Nadia Afridi
Whenever someone talks about Pakistan cricket, there’s one name that always comes up in the mind is that of Shahid Afridi. The former Pakistan skipper was one of the finest all-rounders the game of cricket ever witnessed. Be it being brutal with the bat or aggressive with the ball, Afridi was a potential match-winner for his nation.
In his career spanning 22 years, he had several records to his name, some of which are still unbroken. He recorded the fastest hundred in one-day internationals during the match against Sri Lanka by notching up a ton in just 37 deliveries. The record stood tall for 18 years until New Zealand’s Corey Anderson broke it against West Indies. Apart from his batting heroics he also holds the record for most wickets taken as a captain in T20Is.
