5 Bowlers with Most Wickets in T20Is since 2016

When a batsman is being flamboyant and taking risks in playing his shorts, one can easily assume which format is on display. T20 cricket has evolved quite a lot over the years. It started back in 2005 and was considered to be a batsman game, but the bowlers have definitely made a mark in the past and now, they too have their own enigma in T20 cricket.

5. Mitchell Santner
The Blackcaps all-rounder Mitchell Santner stands fifth in the list of most wickets in T20Is since 2016. He has managed 50 wickets from 43 matches, wherein, his economy rate is 7.37 with best figures of 4 for 11.
4. Mustafizur Rahman
The lanky left-arm seamer from Bangladesh holds the fourth position with 52 wickets from just 36 matches. He averages 20.75 and has an economy rate of 8.25 with 5 for 22 being his best figures.
3. Yuzvendra Chahal
The second leading wicket-taker for India in T20Is Yuzvendra Chahal has been in a terrific form in the shortest format of the game. From 42 T20Is since 2016, he has managed 55 scalps with best figures of 6 for 25 which came against England. He averages 24.34 and carries an economy rate of 8.18.
