Billy Murdoch – Australia
Billy Murdoch was the first Australian batter who registered the First double century in test cricket. The batter captained the side and in a match against England in Oval in 1884 achieved the feat. He scored 211 runs but unfortunately couldn’t help his team win the match as it ended in a draw.
Tip Foster – England
Tip Foster scored the First double century in test cricket for England. He scored 287 runs in Ashes 1903 against Australia at SCG. His innings of 287 runs helped his side take a huge first-innings lead and win the match by 5 wickets.

Aubrey Faulkner – South Africa
In a match against Australia in 1910 at MCG, Aubrey Faulkner from South Africa scored the First double century in test. His knock of 204 runs helped his side take a mammoth first-innings lead and it was certain that his innings would be match-winning. But Australian great skills and emerged victorious by 89 runs.
Clifford Roach – West Indies
